THIEVES have targeted vehicles in Caversham stealing cash and police have issued advice to residents on how to keep their belongings safe.
The force explained there have been numerous thefts on roads in the Caversham neighbourhood including Woodford Close, Balmore Drive, Highmoor Road and Peppard Road.
Cash was stolen and gloveboxes are being opened.
The thefts happened on Tuesday January 14 between 2am and 4am.
Police said: "Please report any suspicious incidents, sightings to The Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 101, also please check your CCTV cameras, Ringcam or Dashcam."

They advised residents to keep their belongings safe by:
- Double checking they have locked their vehicles
- Keeping keys safe
- Removing all items from vehicles including Sat Navs
They also urged residents to park in a well lit location or garage.
