SHOCKING photos show the extent of fire damage to a Reading restaurant.
Afghan Restaurant, Wokingham Road, was ablaze on Monday night (January 20), where smoke could be seen billowing from the windows.

Pictures taken at the scene shortly after the fire was extinguished appear to show a collapsed roof and equipment left completely damaged by the flames.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service was called to the fire at 6pm.
Crews from Wokingham Road, Caversham Road and Dee Road and an officer were sent to the scene.

Upon arrival, firefighters found the fire affecting the ground floor of the property, so four firefighters in breathing apparatus used two hose reels to extinguish the blaze.
They then used a fan to ventilate the area and were on the scene for just under two hours.
