RESIDENTS are being warned about a potentially dangerous brand of washing machine.
The Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service (RBFRS) posted a Tweet to say that some Hotpoint and Indesit machines pose a fire risk and have been recalled.

In a picture accompanying the Tweet, people are advised to check using their serial and model numbers.
The company issued a warning to say that they are recalling certain models manufactured between 2014 and 2018, stating that 'People's safety is Whirlpool's priority.

The website also states that anyone whose washing machine has to be recalled will be offered a comparable replacement washing machine, provided for free.
