A WOMAN has been charged with two counts of robbery, one of which hospitalised her victim.
Natasha Stevens, 27, was arrested on Thursday, January 23 and charged on the same day for both offences.
One charge was for an incident that took place on King Street, Reading, in May last year, and the other on Whitley Street, Reading on January 9.
The first incident involved a man's wallet with a small amount of cash being stolen.
Police said the second incident involved a man in his sixties was attacked when his walking stick was kicked away from him, causing him to fall and suffer a broken hip.
The attacker then stole the cash he had just withdrawn from a cash point. The victim required hospital treatment for his injury.
A spokesman for Thames Valley Police said: "Following a Thames Valley Police investigation, a woman has been charged with two counts of robbery.

Stevens appeared at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Friday, January 24, and has since been remanded in custody.
She is to appear at Reading Crown Court on February 24.
