The following cases were heard at Reading Magistrates’ Court:

November 19:

FINLEY FURNELL, 18, of Canterbury Road, Reading, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Friar Street, Reading, on June 22. Also admitted failing to surrender to custody at Reading Magistrates' Court having been released on bail on July 10. Given a conditional discharge for 12 months. Fined £50 and ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge, plus £135 court costs.

SAEED ANWAR, 54, of Wokingham Road, Reading, convicted of assault by beating in Reading on August 23. Given a conditional discharge for two years and made subject of a restraining order. Also order to pay £21 victim surcharge and £400 court costs.

November 20:

MITCHELL WILSON, 48, of Penrose Avenue, Reading, convicted of assault by beating in Woodley on July 27. Also convicted criminal damage to a £649 mobile phone in Woodley on July 27. Given a community order to comply with rehabilitation activity and must undertake 200 hours unpaid work. Also ordered to pay £200 compensation and £85 victim surcharge. Must also pay £620 court costs.

MICHAEL WHITE, 35, of Beech Hill Road, Reading, admitted two charges of drug-driving in Oxford Road, Reading, on June 23. Found to have cocaine in blood. Also admitted possession of cocaine in Reading on June 23. Fined £450 and ordered to pay £45 victim surcharge, plus £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 36months.

TERRY JORDAN, of City Road, Tilehurst in Reading, admitted driving without due care and attention in The Meadway on November 25, 2018. Fined £738 and ordered to pay £73 victim surcharge. Must also pay £775 court costs. Five points added to driving licence.

November 21: SHAWN DABERO, 31, of Richmond Road, Reading, admitted sending a voice note of a threatening message to cause distress or anxiety in Reading on June 2. Given a community order to comply with rehabilitation requirements and made subject to a restraining order. Also ordered to pay £85 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

ASHLEY CHARLES, 20, of School Terrace, Reading, admitted using threatening or abusive words or behaviour to cause alarm or distress in Reading on November 6. Also admitted commission of a further offence while subject to a suspended sentence for offences of assault and threatening behaviour. Fined £183 and ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge. Must also pay £85 court costs.

KAMAL GURUNG, 24, of Dorothy Street, Reading, admitted drink-driving in Cholmeley Road, Reading, on November 3. Found to have 50mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, the legal limit being 35mcg. Fined £266 and ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge, plus £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 12 months.

JAYDEN HAYLETT, 24, of Knowle Road, Reading, admitted aggravated vehicle taking and damage in Earley on August 31. Namely by unlawfully taking a Ford Focus which was then involved in a crash with four other vehicles and a garden wall and fence. Also admitted driving in Earley on August 31 without the correct licence or insurance. Sentenced to nine weeks in prison suspended for 18 months as 'offence so serious due to having passengers in the car and substantial damage done to multiple cars in moving traffic'. Also ordered to pay £600 compensation. Disqualified from driving for 12 months.

ELLEN HUNTER, 22, of Rushley Way, Reading, admitted assault by beating of a police officer in Reading on November 3. Given a conditional discharge for 12 months. Also ordered to pay £200 compensation and £21 victim surcharge. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs.

GARY RICHINGS, 60, of Eliot Close, Thatcham in West Berkshire, admitted drink-driving in the McDonald's drive-thru Pinchinton Lane, Newbury, on November 2. Found to have 120mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, te legal limit being 35mcg. Given a community order to comply with rehabilitation activity and must also undertake 150 hours unpaid work. Also ordered to pay £90 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 30 months.

DAVID WRIGHT, 42, of Paddock Heights, Twyford, admitted fraud by false representation by using someone else's Lloyds bank card to buy £86 worth of good in Wokingham on October 23. Fined £120 and ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge, plus £40 court costs.

JOJSE DORAS, 24, of Belmont Road, Reading, admitted using threatening or abusive words or behaviour to cause alarm or distress in Reading on April 28. Given a conditional discharge for 18 months and £250 compensation. Also ordered to pay £20 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

DAMIEN HEWITT, 22, of Beauchief Close in Earley, Reading, admitted assault by beating at Lola Lo's Friar Street, Reading, on June 22. Given a community order to comply with rehabilitation activity and must undertake 170 hours unpaid work. Also ordered to pay £250 compensation and £85 victim surcharge, plus £85 court costs.

MOHAMMED NASERI, 47, of Teviot Road, Tilehurst in Reading, admitted drink-driving in Craddock Road, Reading, on October 22. Found to have 111mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, the legal limit being 35mcg. Given a community order to comply with rehabilitation activity and must undertake 100 hours unpaid work. Also ordered to pay £90 victim surcharge, plus £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 26 months.

November 22:

JAMEKAL HENDERSON, 25, of Hazel Road, Reading, convicted of assault by beating in Reading on April 7. Convicted of criminal damage of a Kawasaki motorcycle worth £593.32 in Reading on April 7. Given a community order to comply with rehabilitation activity and also ordered to carry out 200 hours unpaid work. Also ordered to pay £843.32 compensation and also ordered to pay £85 victim surcharge. Also ordered to pay £775 court costs.

KYLE BENNETT, 22, of Tudor Road, Reading, admitted stealing a television between July 30, 2018 and October 15, 2018, in Reading. Fined £70 and ordered to pay £180 compensation, plus £30 victim surcharge.

KEIRAN CLARK, 21, of Newtown Road, Newbury, admitted stealing a set of ear phone worth £9.99 from Robert Dyas in Newbury on September 21. Admitted failing to comply with a supervision requirements between August 13, and September 4. Also admitted stealing Lego worth £92 from Sainsbury's in Newbury on October 9. Admitted stealing £358 worth of DVD and electrical items from Sainsbury's in Newbury on October 4. Admitted stealing £80 worth of laundry goods from Tesco in Newbury on October 26. Sentenced to prison for 18 weeks. Also ordered to pay £459.99 compensation. Admitted failing to surrender to custody having been released on bail on October 23 and the same charge for September 24.

IAN CORNWALL, 37, of London Road, Newbury, convicted of assault by beating in Newbury on February 16. Fined £691 and ordered to pay £250 compensation. Also ordered to pay £69 victim surcharge and £775 court costs.

ALAN TANG, 41, of Buxton Avenue, Reading, admitted parking in a disabled bay in Hills Meadow Car Park, Caversham, on March 7 without complying with regulations. Fined £107 and ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge, plus £1,450 court costs.

STEVE BANHAM, 44, of Oare, in Thatcham, convicted of being in charge of a dog in Thatcham without a collar with the name and address of the owner. Also convicted of being the keeper of a tan and black German Shepherd named Oscar which was not microchipped within 21 days. Fined £150 and ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge. Must also pay £500.

NEIL BUTLER, 60, of Church Street, Theale, convicted of being the user of a vehicle that was heavier that allowed on Skew Bridge, Pangbourne Road, against the weight restriction on March 14. Fined £161 and ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge, plus £175 court costs.

November 23:

CHARLIE HENAGHAN, 22, of Andover Road, Newbury, admitted failing to surrender to custody having been released on bail on November 19. Fined £50 and ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge.

November 25:

CHRISTIAN KELLY, 36, of no fixed abode, admitted stealing a pedal cycle worth £150 from Reading on August 17. Sentenced to four weeks in prison due to previous record. Also ordered to pay £150 compensation.

STEPHEN PAINTER, 42, of no fixed abode, admitted failing to comply with a community protection notice banning him from Duke Street. Also admitted commission of a further offence while subject to a suspended sentence for five offences of theft. Fined £100 and ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge.

GARETH INGLIS, 38, of Grafton Road, Tilehurst in Reading, admitted obstructing or resisting a police officer in the execution of their duty in Reading on June 28. Fined £103 and ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge, plus £350 court costs.

WILL ADAMS, 21, of Westwood Road, Tilehurst in Reading, admitted assault by beating of a police officer in Merchants Place on January 28. Also admitted possession of class B drug cannabis in Reading on January 29, and on the same occasion admitted being in possession of cocaine. Given a conditional discharge for 12 months and ordered to pay £100 compensation. Also ordered to pay £20 victim surcharge and £100 court costs.
