A SCHOOLBOY who was hit by a car in Burghfield earlier this month remains in hospital in a 'stable condition.'
The 12-year-old was hit by a dark coloured Volkswagen Golf in Reading Road on Monday, February 3.

Police confirmed today (February 13) that the victim is showing sings of improvement.
The spokesman added that the investigation remains ongoing, with no arrests made at this stage.

Investigating officer PC Gareth Miles, from the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit based at Three Mile Cross, said at the time: "We are investigating this road traffic collision.
"We are asking anyone who may have witnessed this collision to please come forward."
