A READING primary school has reopened today after being closed as a precautionary measure yesterday (February 26) amid coronavirus fears.
Reading Borough Council confirmed that St Michael's School, Dee Road, was closed after a staff member had developed 'flu-like' symptoms after returning from Italy.
The closure was a precautionary measure, and the staff member was told to self-isolate.
The school website is informing parents today (Thursday, February 27) that the school is open.
The post reads: "St Michael's is back open Thursday, 27th February - we are looking forward to seeing you all."
