LOCALS are being told not to panic if they see people wearing hazmat suits at the University of Reading.
A post on the university Facebook page was published to inform students and neighbours that this will be part of a student workshop and is nothing to be alarmed about.

The post reads: "FYI: If you're around the Archaeology at the University of Reading building tomorrow, you may see people hanging around in white Hazmat suits. "Don't panic!
"This is just a student workshop.
"Security and Health & Safety are aware.
"Please do not go all 28 Days Later on us."

The reassuring post comes amid high concerns about coronavirus, with a school in Reading recently closed down due to fears about the killer illness.
Yesterday (March 2) employees at Vodafone Newbury HQ were sent home over coronavirus concerns.
