TWO care home residents in Reading have tested positive for coronavirus, it has been confirmed.
The residents, who live in Parkside House Care Home, are currently being cared for in their rooms.

Suzie Brown, Regional Director for Bupa Care Services explained: “In line with advice from Public Health England, they’re being cared for in their rooms to prevent the spread of infection.
“Our colleagues have protective equipment and are working to ensure they receive the care and support they need.”

She added: “We’ve also taken swift action in line with Public Health England’s guidelines.
“As well as cleaning the home, we’ve made the decision to close to visitors and are taking all the required measures to ensure the continued care and safety of our residents.”
Staff explained they are using "stringent infection control measures at the home".
