LAST week, April's Pink Supermoon lit up the sky, and Reading stargazers have sent in their impressive photos.

Residents were able to enjoy a picturesque scene on the night of April 7, as this month's full moon occurred after reaching the nearest point from Earth in its orbit.

This created a supermoon, which appeared larger than normal.
The pink supermoon name is a northern Native American reference to an early-blooming wildflower, which starts to pop up in the US and Canada at the beginning of spring.
