"You are helping to stop spread the virus" - this was the message of Reading FC defender Tom McIntyre to all those staying at home.

In a video posted on the team's Twitter, the 21-year-old advised people to follow lockdown rules while thanking NHS staff, Thames Valley Police and other key workers.

He added: "I know it's hard to stay in, but while the football season is on hold, I'm doing different things to keep myself busy, such as running once a day, exercising in the garden and also playing Playstation with my friends."
Thames Valley Police Reading posted the video to their Twitter, saying: "#stayhomesavelives. @Tom5MC and @ReadingFC have an important message for you."
