LOCAL police teams have thanked both businesses and members of the public for continuing to send them food during the lockdown period.

Kind residents and food outlets have been delivering treats to police stations, and pictures posted by Thames Valley Police (TVP) show officers' appreciation.
TVP Reading said yesterday: "Massive thanks to Hema and Mark from Flavour of Mauritius for feeding all of Reading Team 2 tonight, incredibly kind of you and absolutely delicious food!"

Meanwhile, a team in Newbury were sent a pizza delivery by Dominos.
They said: "We’ve received a very delicious delivery of Pizza to Newbury police station!
"Thank you so much to all the Staff at @Dominos_UK for your kind gesture that is very much appreciated! (PC Cowell is now hoping he doesn’t have a foot chase tonight)!
