MORE than 300 pies were enjoyed by deserving hospital staff in Reading recently.
Made by TV chef James Martin, the pies were delivered to NHS heroes at the Royal Berkshire Hospital pop-up grocery shop as part of an initiative to give back to those working on the frontline of the coronavirus pandemic.

Taking to Twitter, James Martin said: "Really happy to have been able to support Help NHS Heroes with over 300 pies which have been delivered to the @RBNHSFT shop in Reading.
"Glad to hear they went down well guys!
"Help NHS Heroes has been developed to support NHS workers in response to the COVID-19 crisis by providing easy access to essential groceries.
