OFFICIAL figures show that seven more cases of coronavirus have been recorded in Reading as of May 6.
Public Health England figures show that 514 people had been confirmed as testing positive for Covid-19 by 9am Wednesday morning (May 6) in Reading, up from 507 the same time on Tuesday.
A week before, there were 454 cases.
It means cases increased by 1 per cent in 24 hours, lower than the rate of increase across the UK of 3 per cent.
They were among the 18,509 cases recorded across the South East, a figure which rose by 510 over the period.
Cumulative case counts include patients who are currently unwell, have recovered and those that have died.
Across the UK, 201,101 people had tested positive for coronavirus as of 9am on Wednesday, up from 194,990 at the same point on Tuesday, Department of Health and Social Care figures show. In total, 1,072,144 people had been tested, and, as of 5pm on Tuesday, 30,076 had died.
