Freddie is believed to have been stolen from the River Kennet near the Hook and Tackle Pub, opposite The Loch Fyne restaurant in Reading.
'Dog stolen' posters have been put up around Reading in the hope someone will recognise Freddie.
He is described as a French Bulldog Tanned colour and is a young adult.
Kimberley said: " Heartbroken is an understatement. We don’t think he’s run away as not one single sighting we think some one has him.
"He was taken around 7:55pm on Tuesday we literally turned our backs for ten seconds. He doesn’t run off and is scared of water so no way he would have gone in or bolted.
"Absolutely heart broken been out for three days solid looking for him we are devastated."
