LONG queues have been reported as shoppers flock to Ikea for the store's first day of reopening since lockdown.

The home accessory chain has opened shops today (Monday, June 1) for the first time since March, following the government relaxation of lockdown guidelines.
Customers have taken to social media to express concerns about how busy the stores will be based on 'huge queues' outside.

The Calcot store is among those to have reopened, with the carpark reportedly getting full quickly.
One resident said a sign displayed outside the car park said that it was full at around midday on Monday.
