DINTON PASTURES has announced that it will be running its open air cinema nights this summer.

The country park, based in Hurst and Woodley, will be hosting live movie screenings for the third year in a row, showing films from August 1 to August 29.

In order to maintain resident's safety, food and drink vendors will not be permitted on site, however movie-goers are encouraged to bring their own picnic for the occasion.

Hand sanitizer will also be provided for residents, as well as the screen being moved to the Lea Heath, in order to give residents greater space to social distance. Parking has also been encouraged to be paid for by phone, using the RingGo app.

Cllr Parry Batth, executive member for environment and leisure, said: “We are delighted to once again host our popular open air cinema nights at Dinton Pastures.

"The fact that these films will air in the great outdoors, means we are confident that viewers can safely enjoy their favourite films with family and friends.

"Last year’s screenings were incredibly popular, so be sure to grab tickets while you can.”

Ticket holders will be given a scheduled arrival time to ensure minimal queues at entry.
