Back of Beyond, Reading (3.5 stars)
This Wetherspoon pub has very good reviews and of course, it is good value for price.
But, one person said their food was cold when they visited before the lockdown.
A reviewer said: "It's cold food . Old peas wait too long on the hot plate. Boring staff and didn't enjoy the steak at all."
However, others were a bit luckier with their food and enjoyed their experience.

We ordered using the Wetherspoons app and couldn’t believe how quickly the food, and drinks arrived. Such a great system, and the service and food was faultless. Will seek out Wetherspoons in the future, on the back of our fantastic experience."
Windlesora Wetherspoon, Windsor (3.5 stars)

The Hatchet Inn, Newbury (3.5 stars)
This is the only Wetherspoon you can stay in in Berkshire so if you're a fan of the classic British pub chain, then visit here.
Their hotel rooms are rated as 'fantastic value' and 'very good' but the only downside was heaving heavy luggage up the stairs.
One person who visited five days ago said: "After the months of lockdown, it makes you realise how much we take things for granted, so the simple pleasure of a pint and a plate of scampi and chips in the Hatchet on Saturday was a joy."
The review also gives praise to Lesley and the team!
The Moon and Spoon, Slough (4 stars)
This Wetherspoon chain has 215 reviews and is rated a four stars! 83 people said the food is excellent.
The vegeterian food is also really good which is 'hard to find' in Slough High Street.
One person said: "Eat here twice, had vegetarian friend with us and no problems. Food came very quickly and was perfect . A little noisy first night frequented by workers but no problems at all."
Another reviewer said: "Been here several times on business, always at lunch so cannot comment on the night scene. It is a typical Wetherspoons, I have been in better ones but also worse. Great for a modest price lunch with well kept beers. Friendly staff."
The Bear, Maidenhead (3.5 stars)
It has got 306 reviews and 228 said vote in favour of the pub as being good.

One person said: "The best pub and restaurant in Maidenhead. Food always serve hot and delicious. Service impeccable especially Lauren who looks after us. Enjoyed my birthday celebration with my family Thank you and highly recommended."
