A WILDLIFE Park near Pangbourne introduced the first of its summer Family Discovery Trails last week.

Beale Wildlife Park introduced the first trail last Friday (July 17) and it’s ‘All about Eggs’.

The park bought more than 1,000 chocolate eggs to give away over the Easter Bank Holiday, and will be giving them away as prizes for completing the trail.

There is also the option of seed planter as a prize.

“There are ten questions, which are all egg related including discovering when the first chocolate egg was produced to which bird lays the smallest egg in the world,” explained Stephen McKeown (Park Director).

He added: “We have a real Elephant Bird egg on display in the Hatchery so visitors will be able to see how big it is.”

The ‘All about Eggs!’ trail will run to Tuesday (July 21) when it will replaced by ‘Brilliant Birds’.
