FOLLOWING reports of antisocial use of motorbikes, police have this week been conducting foot patrols along the Kennet and Avon canal.
Last week, police in the Whitley area handed out notice warnings and seized two motorbikes following similar reports.

Five notices were issued to individuals in the Whitley and Southcote area by the South Reading Neighbourhood Policing Team, which can lead to the seizure of the bikes in they are used in an anti social manner again.
Yesterday, (July 21), Thames Valley Police (TVP) again said that they were patrolling areas for misuse of motorbikes close to the canal.

On the TVP Reading Facebook page, a post reads: "PCSO Davies and PCSO Holmes have been conducting foot patrols along the Kennet and Avon canal this morning following a rise in reports of ASB use of motorbikes on the towpath and surrounding fields in South Reading.
"Please report any sightings via 101."
