SEVERAL homes in Reading and West Berkshire are currently without power following an outage.
Homes in Reading, Earley, Shinfield, Arborfield, Woodley and West Berkshire have been affected by power cuts which happened at different times this morning (July 28).

Scottish and Southern Electric reported (SSE) reported that 29 homes across the area were without power as of 11am.
The company said that the RG2 area (Reading, Shinfield, Arborfield, Earley, Arborfield Cross, Hyde End Farm) should expect power to return by 4pm, while homes in RG6 (Earley, Sonning, Woodley) should have electrics back by 12pm, and the affected homes in RG8 (Reading, Goring and Pangbourne) should see power restored by 2pm.

In both the RG6 area and the RG8 area, power was lost shortly before 8am, while parts of RG2 lost power around 9am.
