FOODIES are now beginning to flock back to newly-reopened restaurants as the country gradually comes out of lockdown.
With such a variety of food outlets available here in Reading - from the popular Oracle Riverside sit-down restaurants to the many take-away options lining the streets - it won't be long before the town is once again bustling with hungry customers eager to enjoy a meal out.

We have rounded up some of the town's most recent food standard inspections to help you decide where to dine when the government's new 'eat out to help out' scheme is rolled out next week.
Every establishment which deals with the handling of food is rated by food hygiene inspectors employed by the council.

They are given an overall score as well as three separate rankings based on food hygiene and safety, structural compliance and confidence in management.
