ONE of the main roads in and out of Reading's town centre has reopened after being closed for several hours following a stabbing.
Police closed off London Road in East Reading yesterday shortly after 6pm.

A swarm of police vehicles could be seen surrounding a cordon between Cumberland Road and Liverpool Road.
This cordon has been in place throughout the morning but Reading Buses has updated passengers in the past few minutes that it has reopened to traffic both ways.

Traffic is congested around the area close to King's Road, along the Wokingham Road, and around the Sutton Seeds Roundabout.
St Bartholomews Road was also closed due to this incident, according to traffic reports.
