A MAN in his 80s was robbed of approximately £200 by a man who pretended to help him.
Police have released CCTV images of a man who may have important information about the distraction burglary in Caversham.
At around 3pm on Wednesday, July 29, a man approached the victim, a man in his eighties, on Church Road and offered to carry out work on the victim's property.

The offender then followed the victim back to his property and told him that he had completed the work and required payment.
The victim gave the man cash and then entered the property to get more money.
The offender then followed him in and took money from the victim before running away.
Approximately £200 in cash was taken during the incident.

Designated investigator Chris Birkitt, based at Reading police station, said: "I am releasing these CCTV images as I believe that this man may have information that could help with my investigation.
