SHOPPING trolleys and bikes are just two of the weird and wonderful items pulled from the River Thames by the fire service last week.
Pictures tweeted by the Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service show items the team removed from the river.

Multiple shopping trolleys could be seen alongside a bike and various other metal items including a fence.
The service tweeted the pictures with a warning to residents to stay away from open water.
The tweet read: "Look at what was removed from the Thames last week!

"We want to use this to remind residents to #BeWaterAware and stay away from open water – you have no idea what’s beneath the surface."
