A STREET food competition described as the “biggest” in the world is coming to Reading later this year.
Blue Collar, a food market which takes place across Reading, has revealed it will be hosting the southern heat of the British Street Food Annual awards in September.

On Twitter, Blue Collar said: “The biggest street food competition in THE WORLD is coming to Reading - and we’re hosting it.”
The event is due to take place over the weekend of September 19 and 20, 2020, at Market Place, Reading.
Blue Collar explained 16 of the best traders in the UK will fight it out in the Southern Heat of the 2020 British Street Food Awards which is supported by Hellmann's.
Winners will have the opportunity to represent the south at the national finals in London.
Blue Collar revealed: “It's a prize that genuinely changes lives.

“Baked In Brick, D’oh Hut and Wingmans - previous BSFA winners - have all recently opened their first establishment.
“While MEATliquor, who won Best Sandwich at the first EVER Awards, now have 12 restaurants round the world.”
People can now book a time slot for the event which is in place to control numbers and track and trace.
