A POST OFFICE in Woodley reopened this week, after an eight-month closure.
The post office on The Parade, Brecon Road, Woodley, closed in December 2019 after the postmaster resigned, however a new postmaster has since taken over.

It was intended that the new postmaster would resume the store's trading in April, however this was delayed due to the coronavirus, affecting training.
Post Office Change Manager, Antoinette Chitty, said: “We are delighted to have restored Post Office service to this area of Woodley as we know how important Post Office services are to a community.

"We hope that customers will continue to use this service.”
The Post Office opened to the public on Monday, August 10. Its opening hours are 6am-6pm Monday to Saturday, and 7am-12pm on Sunday.
