Reading East MP Matt Rodda has called for a 260-home plan at a golf club to be withdrawn after a survey showed a high level of concern from residents.
The survey – conducted by the MP and completed by 1,700 residents – found that four in five respondents were highly concerned about the plan to build on Reading Golf Club in Caversham.
The plans have received a mixed response from residents, with dozens taking to the planning portal to both object and support the proposal
Matt Rodda, MP for Reading East, who carried out the survey, said: "The survey clearly shows a high level of concern among people living in Caversham and Emmer Green. I hope the developers will consider local residents' views and withdraw the plans."
