A HEARTBROKEN cat owner from Earley is appealing for help to find her pet after someone falsely claimed her as their own.
Miso the cat went missing and a picture of her was recently posted on social media by people trying to help reunite her with her owners.

She was then claimed by a lady who has since deleted her Facebook profile and retracted all of her messages.
Miso's owner Lisa Mao said: "Miso has a very distinct brown marking that looks like dirt on the side of her nose so she is easily identifiable and is chipped.

"Does anyone know of this name Chanell Greenham, who claimed to be the owner of our cat? Thank you!"
Police have been contacted for comment.
