BURGLARS have targeted sheds and garages in the West Reading area over the past week prompting police to issue an alert to the public.
Thames Valley Police said there have been a number of sheds and garages broken into in the past week and items such as bikes have been stolen.

It added the Priority Crime Team at Reading Police Station are asking residents to check their shed security and garden security.
Police said the following roads have had incidents: Osborne Road, Inglewood Court, Prince of Wales Avenue and Baron Court.
It said most of these offences are happening overnight.
Issuing a TVP alert, the force said: "Please register your valuables at www.immobilise.com and encourage friends, family and neighbours to receive this type of message by registering at www.thamesvalleyalert.co.uk.

"Please report any suspicious incidents, sightings or any information to The Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 101, also please consider Ringcam, Dashcam or CCTV Cameras."
