A MAN is in hospital with life threatening injuries and police are appealing for witnesses to find out how it happened.
Thames Valley Police (TVP) said a man in his forties was taken to hospital with two collapsed lungs, several broken ribs and a head injury.

The force said he remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.
At about 8pm on Monday (September 14) an ambulance was called to Wensley Road, Coley, following a report from a member of the public.
Police are appealing for witnesses to find out how the man was injured.
Investigating officer Detective Sergeant Alexander Willis, based at Reading police station, said: “It is not yet clear how this man received these injuries and so I am appealing to anyone who has any information about what may have happened to come forward.

“I am appealing to anyone who was in the area between 6pm and 8pm on Monday to get in touch if they saw or heard anything that could help with my investigation.
