A STUDENT at the University of Reading has tested positive for coronavirus.
The University tweeted yesterday (September 28) just after 6pm confirming the news.
The tweet said: "It’s been great to see so many of you back on campus for classes today, but the news of a confirmed student coronavirus case at UoR is a reminder that we all need to do our bit to help."
The tweet explained the student has been in self-isolation at home since developing symptoms and relevant teaching staff and other students on their course have been informed.
The University said it is supporting the local health authorities and Public Health England to reach any close contacts and wished the student a "speedy recovery".
