A new plan has been submitted to transform a Caversham butchers, which closed earlier this year, into a one-bed flat.
Plans were submitted several months ago to convert the former Whitings Butchers, on 20 Coldicutt Street, into a one-bed flat but were subsequently withdrawn.
A new revised application has now gone in, which includes an outbuilding to provide extra space for a gym/playroom.

Family-run Whitings Butchers shut permanently in March after more than a century serving the community because of its owner Martin Howarth’s health.
Mr Howarth has the rare immune condition pyoderma gangrenosum which forced him to undergo a double amputation and the family decided to close the shop in March.
Caversham residents can still buy meat from The Caversham Butcher, on Church Street, but Jennings of Caversham, on Prospect Street has now also closed.
