A former travel shop on Oxford Road will become an Indian restaurant, after plans were approved on Friday (October 9).

Previously home to travel ticketing and holiday packages company Gurkha Management Services, at the 172 Oxford Road unit, will now be taken over by an Indian restaurant.

Reading Borough Council (RBC) Planning officers approved the change of use from a shop or financial and professional services (A1/A2) to a restaurant or cafe (A3).
