SCHOOLS in Reading are being urged to be extra vigilant after reports of two attempted break ins in the early hours of this morning (October 20).

Thames Valley Police (TVP) are investigating the attempted break in to schools in the Kings Road and School Terrace areas.
We are currently investigating two attempt breaks to schools in the Kings Road and School Terrace areas in the early hours of this morning. TVP Reading posted about the incident to its Twitter page, adding: "With half term and darker evening fast approaching, we recommend for all schools to be extra vigilant and invest in alarms, CCTV, lighting."
