A SWAN who was "swanning around in Reading this morning" has been "safely returned" to the river by a police officer.
TVP Roads Policing tweeted this morning (October 26) to say PC Robson of the roads policing department took the swan back to the river.

The tweet said: "This reprobate was swanning around in #Reading this morning until Pc Robson of the roads policing dept done some WWE moves thinking he's the @TheRockand safely returned her home to the river."

The force said the swan was spotted in King's Road.
