FOLLOWING a spate of recent burglaries, police have increased patrols in parts of Reading.
Thames Valley Police (TVP) Reading have advised people to protect their homes by double locking front doors and reporting any suspicious behaviour at the time it is occurring.

The force said the incidents have been taking place across east Reading.

A picture posted on the force's Twitter page showed they would be patrolling along Cholmeley Road anbd Liverpool Road.
