AN entire year group has been told to self-isolate away from school after a confirmed Covid-19 case.
Highdown School, Emmer Green, confirmed on its website that all of Year 9 students are expected to stay at home until November 27.

The statement reads: "Students will be expected to complete remote working set on Class Charts.
"They can email their class teachers if they have any questions about the work set. More details about remote working to follow.
"HANDS - FACE - SPACE.
"It is essential that students continue to bring a face covering (mask style) to school every day to wear in indoor and communal spaces
" Students should also bring a coat as we have limited indoor spaces during break/lunchtimes.

"Furthermore, as we need to keep classrooms well ventilated, students will be permitted to wear their coats, if they wish to, in their classroom."
