ALMOST 300 staff and students have tested positive for coronavirus at the University of Reading, latest figures show.
The university's Covid-19 dashboard dated Monday, November 30, shows a total of 298 staff and students have tested positive for the virus since the start of the 20/21 academic year which started on September 28, 2020.

This is a running total of positive cases reported to the university and includes cases that are no longer 'active'.
The figures show a total of 17 staff members have tested positive and 281 students.
The number of daily new cases stands at one.
This is the number of new Covid-19 positive test results reported to the university from students and staff in the previous 24 hours.
The seven-day rolling total of reported cases is seven - this gives an indication of the number of current 'active' cases.

The website also details what happens when a student or staff member tests positive and support and advice available for students who are self-isolating.
