The following cases appeared at Reading Magistrates’ Courts
November 11:
DANIEL SMITH, 38, of Carey Street, Reading, admitted fraud by false representation by using an HSBC bank card belonging to someone else to by alcohol and soft drinks worth £80.60 in Reading on September 11, 2019. Sentenced to four months in prison suspended for 18 months due to severity of offence and failure to express willingness to comply with supervision requirements of a community order. Also ordered to pay £122 victim surcharge.
CHRISTOPHER SMITH, 60, of Swansea Road, Reading, admitted drink-driving in Randolph Road, Reading, on September 2. Found to have 76mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, the legal limit being 35mcg. Also admitted possession of class A drug cocaine in Reading on September 3. Fined £145. Also ordered to pay £34 victim surcharge and must pay £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 18 months.

AGNIESZKA BEARPARK, 39, of Dunholme Close, Reading, admitted drink-driving in Wokingham Road, Reading, on July 26. Found to have 110mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, the legal limit being 35mcg. Given a community order to comply with a electronic monitoring curfew requirements for two months. Also ordered to pay £85 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 27 months.
November 12:
YORDAN KOSTOV, 30, of London Road, Newbury, admitted drink-driving in Turnpike Road, Newbury, on September 3. Found to have 47mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, the legal limit being 35mcg. Fined £115. Also ordered to pay £34 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 14 months.
CHARLIE HIGGINS, 21, of Dee Road, Reading, admitted assault by beating in Reading on February 19. Given a community order to comply with rehabilitation activity. Must pay £100 compensation. Also ordered to pay £90 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.
STEPHEN PEACOCK, 49, of Caversham Road, Reading, admitted stealing three electric toothbrushes worth £240 from Boots in Reading on June 5. Also admitted stealing two electric toothbrushes worth £160 from Boots in Reading on May 29, and three electronic toothbrushes worth £240 from Boots in Reading on June 3. Also admitted stealing two electronic toothbrushes worth £159.98 from Boots in Reading on June 23, and admitted stealing GHD hair straighteners from John Lewis in Reading on August 6, and admitted stealing five bottles of Mermaid Gin worth £200 from marks and Spencer Reading on August 8. Given a community order to comply with electronic monitoring curfew requirements for two months. Must pay £632.92 compensation. Also ordered to pay a £90 victim surcharge.

NATHAN LANGLEY-BUNCE, 27, of Crookham Hill, Thatcham, admitted two charges of assault by beating in Thatcham on September 12 and February 20. Ordered to pay £200 compensation.
DAVID TAYLOR, 40, of Victoria Road, Reading, admitted drink-driving on the A340 Tidmarsh Road, Reading, on October 4. Found to have 74mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, the legal limit being 35mcg. Fined £120. Also ordered to pay £34 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 19 months.
SARA PUERTAS, 36, of Porchester Road, Newbury, admitted criminal damage to a car window and door worth £260. Ordered to pay £260 compensation. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs.
MARTIN BAIN, 33, of Chiltern Road, Reading, admitted drink-driving in Liebenrood Road, Reading, on October 3. Found to have 63mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, the legal limit being 35mcg. Fined £300. Also ordered to pay £34 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 17 months.
GUILHERNE FERRARI, 35, of Norman Road, Reading, admitted not having the correct insurance in Donkin Hill, Caversham, on October 4, and admitted drink-driving in Donkin Hill, Caversham, on October 4. Found to have 88mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, the legal limit being 35mcg. Fined £922. Also ordered to pay £92 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 22 months.
JAMIE HIGGINS, 30, of Sorrel Close, Reading, admitted drug-driving in Turnpike Road, Reading, on May 20. Found to have cannabis in his blood. Also admitted using a vehicle without the correct insurance in Turnpike Road, Reading, on May 20. Fined £594. Also ordered to pay £59 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Disqualified form driving for 12 months.

ABBAS JAVED, 18, of London Road, Reading, admitted possession of class B drug cannabis in Reading on July 4. Given a conditional discharge for 12 months. Also ordered to pay £22 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.
