A MAN has been charged with a string of historic sex offences including those against a boy under age 16.
Roy Coxhead, formerly of Erleigh Road, Reading, has been charged four counts of indecent assault on a boy under 16, three counts of indecent assault on a man over 16, two counts of gross indecency and two counts of attempted buggery with a boy under 16.

The 66 year old has also been charged with one count each of perverting the course of justice, inciting a boy under 16 to commit an act of gross indecency, assault with intent to commit buggery, sexual assault, causing a male 13 or over to engage in penetrative sexual activity, attempted sexual assault by penetration and attempted rape.
Police said the charges are in connection with multiple assault that happened between February 2002 and July 2017 in Reading.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Reading Magistrates' Court on January 27, 2021.
