The father-of-two has written many best sellers on a range of different subjects.

This latest publication may have been published at the most ideal time, as people look for new ways to keep their brains engaged and stay entertained while Covid-19 restrictions remain in place throughout the country.

"Whether you are a casual listener to Radio 4 or someone who listens a lot, there is something for everyone in this book," Neil said.

The puzzles are based on many famous programmes and celebrities, and include mystery sudokus, word searches, coded crosswords, criss-crosses, cryptograms and deliberations over which castaway took which item with them to a desert island.

The book contains much to enjoy and amuse, and Neil is particularly pleased that his new book was able to draw on his love of Radio 4 with a puzzle setting.
