MORE than 4,700 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Reading, according to the latest figures.
The government website says 4,709 people have tested positive for the virus in the town with 91 people testing positive in the last 24 hours.

The figures were last updated on Monday, December 28, at 3.45pm.
Across the UK, a total of 2,329,730 people have tested positive for the virus.
The number of people who have died from the virus in the UK stands at 79,349.

This is the number of people who have Covid-19 on their death certificate.
In Reading, a total of 199 people have died from the virus.
