The festive period is almost over and residents will have to start thinking about taking down their Christmas trees.
Trees are traditionally taken down by January 6 on the Twelfth night as this is observed as the last day of Christmas festivities (the eve of the Epiphany).

But with many people putting their trees up earlier than usual this year, some are already keen to take the decoration down.
We have spoken to Bracknell, Reading and Wokingham's local recycling centre RE3 to find out how Christmas trees will be handled this year.
Residents in Bracknell will be able to recycle their real fur tree by chopping it up and putting it in the brown bin.
You can also put the Christmas tree cuttings in a council garden waste sack and leave it out on recycling collection day.
A spokesman for RE3 said: "Please make sure the lid or sack is closed, all decorations and lights are removed, sacks are booked for collection.

"Alternatively, you can book a bulky collection to have Christmas trees removed or take them to Longshot Lane Recycling Centre (booking apply on https://re3.fccenvironment.co.uk/click-tip-services/."
Reading
Reading residents can take their real trees to the designated areas located in the car parks between 4 January and 22 January
- Albert Road Recreation Ground
- Clayfield Copse
- Hills Meadow
- Rivermead Leisure Centre
- Kensington Road Recreation Ground
- Prospect Park
- Meadway Recreation Ground
- Tilehurst Allotments in Armour Hill
- Palmer Park Sports Stadium
- Whitley Wood Recreational Ground
- South Reading Leisure Centre in Northumberland Avenue
Trees left at those collection points will be chipped and used in range of landscaping schemes across the borough.
Other ways to dispose of your Christmas tree is to chop it up and put it in your green bin if you subscribe to the garden waste collection scheme, or alternatively book a slot at the re3 recycling centre and take it there for recycling.
Wokingham
Wokingham residents can also recycle their Christmas tree by chopping it up and putting it in their garden waste bin (brown) or alternatively they can book a slot at the re3 recycling centre: Longshot Lane Bracknell or Smallmead, Reading and take it there.
