So far, £1,533 has been raised in just 15 hours since the page was created.
Thames Valley Police confirmed 13-year-old Olly was stabbed and died in an attack in Bugs Bottom fields shortly before 4pm on Sunday.
His family are being supported by specially trained officers.
Billy explained he is friends with Olly's sister and when he heard the news he "wanted to do something to help the family".
The GoFundMe page said: "As we all know, recently we were hit with the most heartbreaking, saddened news where we lost the life of such a caring, funny, and beautiful guy.
"Loved by many, I just thought this would be the right thing to do.
"To show our love for him, i think we can all come together as a community and raise money towards a beautiful sending off for Olly."
The fundraising page said any money raised in Olly's memory will go direct to the family to help with any funeral costs.
