READERS have shared their fond memories of a local hotel as it was announced it has been put up for sale.
The Best Western Calcot Hotel is on the market for £6.3 million and is listed for sale on Rightmove.

The property has 80 ensuite bedrooms as well as a restaurant, bar and function rooms (the largest with capacity for 220 people).
Commenting on the news, many of our readers have shared their memories of the place.
Jane Jones said she "had a lot of brilliant evenings there" including hen nights, themed disco dine evenings, Christmas do’s and wedding receptions.
Jayne Walker added she "had some great nights there".
Others have expressed their sadness at the news.
Valerie Coleman said it was "so sad" and explained she got married there.

Fiona Bisp Ryan added that she also got married there and attended Christmas do's for more than 20 years and "loads of tribute nights".
Barbara Eassom said: "Sad to see this go, went there for discos as a teenager and many other times over the years."
Rightmove's website explains the hotel has remained closed since the lockdown in March 2020.
