A man has been arrested after he admitted to police officers for taking cocaine before driving.

In the evening of Monday, January 18, plain clothed officers in Reading saw a ‘vehicle of interest’ driving around the town.
The driver of the car then stopped ‘at his own accord’ before telling the officers that he took the drugs the night before.
Following the admission, the officers conducted a drug wipe in the car.

This came back positive for cocaine, and the driver of the car was subsequently taken away by the authorities.
