DRUGS have been seized by police during their night patrols in Reading.
Thames Valley Police (TVP) Reading tweeted this morning to explain that "Team1Rdg" completed some "proactive patrols this night shift".

The force said it carried out stop checks for Covid breaches and the section 60 order in Reading.

It added: "We searched 19 persons, recovering drugs and locating no weapons."
Police also issued four fixed penalty notices for Covid breaches.
The force then urged people to "#stayhomesavelives".
