A cannabis factory discovered in Reading was unearthed on a property in Reading – with a number of rooms used to grow the substance.
The operation at Dulverton Gardens had a potential crop yield of £93,000.
A hearing at Reading Crown Court was told the factory had "a number of rooms which had been converted in order to grow cannabis."
On November 10, 2020, police officers discovered a cannabis factory at the property in Reading.
Officers attended and located a man called Rigert Korrage of Dulverton Gardens, who was found guilty of producing cannabis.
The 31-year-old attended a hearing on January 28 and was sent to two years in prison.
Following a Thames Valley Police investigation, a man has been sentenced for the production of drugs in Reading.
Investigating officer, PC Sayed Yousef, based at Reading police station, said: “The estimated street value of the cannabis officers found in the property is around £93,000.
"Thames Valley Police, through our Stronghold campaign will always pursue those people who seek to profit from selling drugs, carrying out detailed investigations, and bringing offenders to justice.
