A small as it seems, local takeaways have played a key part in lifting our spirits as we embrace the little things now that dining out seems like a distant memory.
With this in mind, we asked readers last week what their go-to takeaway had been lately, as a means enjoying some hearty comfort food.
The results were varied, but here are a few of locals' favourite places you may want to try next time you are craving a lockdown treat.
Chinese takeaway lovers may want to follow the advice of Hayley McNulty Siebert, who said: "I did love the Golden Bridge in Caversham!
"The pineapple fried rice was tasty!"
If you have a sweet tooth and really fancy a sugary snack though, Jane Anne recommended Mylo's Desserts.
For those of you who like to try more exotic flavours, Clair Williams went for Palmyra Lebanese.

Representing the Malaysian cuisine fans. Candi Teff said: "Of course, [my go-to] is Makan Malaysia UK.
Mark commented: "It was Mission Burrito, and I won’t be having any kind of takeaway until they can reopen."
